Today begins with breakfast and a day trip to Delphi. Delphi is a town on Mount Parnassus in the south of mainland Greece. It's the site of the 4th-century-B.C. Temple of Apollo, once home to a legendary oracle. This extensive mountainside archaeological complex contains the remains of the sanctuaries of Apollo and Athena Pronaia, as well as an ancient stadium and theater. We will have a full-day tour of Delphi with some time for hiking around the beautiful ruins. There will be a stop along the way back to Athens for visiting the mountain village of Arachova and enjoying lunch and shopping. Our coach will return us to Athens at the end of day where we will have dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast will depart Athens and take a short flight to beautiful Santorini! This is quintessential Greece with the white buildings and blue accents and flowers. We will be taking millions of Instagram-worthy photos! Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its two principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater). They overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.
After we get checked into our beautiful hotel in Oia, which overlooks the ocean, we will have a private tour of the island of Santorini. We will have time to explore the beautiful island and do some great shopping and sight-seeing of the villages, beaches, and more. We will also do some wine-tasting!
Dinner will be at a local restaurant.

After fueling up with breakfast at our hotel, we will set off on what is considered by many as the most beautiful hike in the world! We will experience breathtaking views along the Caldera Trail from Fira to Oia. Our local guide will share the history of the island during our hike, including information about the volcanos, traditions, and local life in Santorini. We will enjoy local architecture and natural landscapes along the route, as well as beautiful sea views the entire way. The hike is about 6 miles in length, and we will take plenty of rest breaks for photos! Snacks and refreshments will be included throughout the hike.
Once we reach Oia, we will enjoy a group lunch and then the rest of the day is yours to explore as you please. You can relax by the pool, do some shopping in Oia, do a personal photo shoot of all the blue domes and white-washed buildings, watch the sun set over the Aegean Sea, or all of the above!
