For 9 days and 8 nights, you’ll journey through a breathtaking destination filled with incredible scenery, fascinating history and deeply rooted traditions—but the exact location will remain a surprise until the adventure begins.

This year’s Mystery Adventure will introduce an entirely new way to experience a destination—something Chicas Abroad has never done before. You’ll venture beyond the typical tourist route, explore places few travelers get to see and experience the destination in a truly immersive way.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy a combination of active adventures and meaningful cultural encounters. Expect scenic walks, moderate hikes, time on the water, historic sites, traditional communities, local markets, regional cuisine and hands-on experiences that connect you with the people and culture of this extraordinary place.

This is an active adventure designed for women who are comfortable with full days, uneven terrain, moderate hiking, changing elevations and the unexpected moments that make travel so memorable. Some days will be longer and more adventurous than others—and the experiences waiting for you will be absolutely worth it.

This is an active, multi-sport adventure designed for travelers who are comfortable with full days, changing terrain and mountain conditions. The itinerary combines scenic journeys, moderate hiking, rafting, cultural exploration and walking tours.

Activities include a 3 to 4-hour mountain hike, a shorter waterfall hike with numerous stairs, and exploration of historic sites with uphill approaches, rocky steps and uneven surfaces. Travelers will also participate in a guided rafting activity that includes preparation and a safety briefing.

Some days involve extended travel on winding, rugged or unpaved roads and visits to higher elevations (approximately 7500' max). Travelers should be able to walk confidently on uneven ground, manage stairs and moderate inclines, enter and exit vehicles comfortably, and remain active for several hours at a time.

A high level of athletic ability is not required, but good mobility, balance and moderate cardiovascular fitness are strongly recommended. Participants should prepare for variable weather, longer adventure days and occasional changes caused by mountain or road conditions.

Expect a wide range of temperatures as we travel through cities, countryside and higher-elevation mountain regions. Days may be warm to hot, while mornings and evenings (especially in the mountains) can be considerably cooler. Rain and rapidly changing conditions are also possible.

Plan to pack lightweight summer clothing along with comfortable layers, a warm fleece or packable jacket, and waterproof outerwear. A detailed packing list will be provided before departure.

All the excursions listed in the itinerary are included. Bring credit/debit cards for purchasing souvenirs, additional snacks/meals, alcoholic drinks, extra activities, and other items. You will have an opportunity to access an ATM in the destination country to get local currency if you'd like to have some cash.

All gratuities are included in your adventure, with the exception of tips for your Chicas Abroad Tour Leader. While tipping your Tour Leader is entirely optional, it’s a meaningful way to show appreciation for the care, energy, and behind-the-scenes magic they bring to your trip. If you’ve had an exceptional experience, a typical gratuity for a trip of this length ranges from $300–$400.
