Trade the crowds and chaos for breezy lake days, charming coastal towns, and the kind of adventure that leaves you feeling refreshed instead of rushed. On this Northern Michigan escape, we’ll experience the very best of the region, from the vibrant waterfront energy of Traverse City to the towering sand dunes of Sleeping Bear and the timeless magic of Mackinac Island. This trip includes scenic bike rides along the shoreline, boutique shopping, sunset dinners by the water, and mornings that begin slowly with coffee and fresh lake air.
This journey is designed for women who love a balance of movement and meaningful downtime. We’ll spend our days hiking bluff trails with sweeping Lake Michigan views, climbing iconic dunes, kayaking crystal-clear waters, and exploring charming downtowns filled with local cafés, wineries, and hidden gems. Along the way, there will also be plenty of space to unwind—whether that means a picnic by the lake, relaxing at a beautiful waterfront resort, or simply soaking in the peaceful pace of island life.
With thoughtfully selected accommodations, unforgettable scenery, and the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, this trip captures everything we love about slow, intentional travel. Northern Michigan may surprise you with just how beautiful, peaceful, and inspiring it can be, and by the end of the week, you’ll understand why so many people return year after year.
